Thank you :) Yes I know I shouldn't set limits and I'm not but I feel the best way to understand and play my own interpretations of the music is to understand the writing process of the VK music I like. In all honesty I like most forms of VK and J-Rock in general but I take heavier influences from bands like Gazette, Dir en Grey, ExistTrace, Vistlip, Diaura, etc. I found what stood out most was that you're a german VK band since I'm german american :)

I understand your throughts, maybe it would be helpfull to start to cover some of your favourite vk songs in order to get a deeper feeling for their song-structure and instrumental teamwork ^^
We also started this way a few years before ^^
otherwise it’s helpful if you just start to write a song without thinking about it too much. Surely you have to set which kind of atmosphere your song should bring to the listener but most of the time everything else comes with the creative working :)
